Robert B. Stulberg, Esq.Robert B. Stulberg is a founding partner of Broach & Stulberg, LLP in New York City, where he represents individual employees, classes of employees, labor unions, employee benefit funds, and disability rights organizations in the private and public sectors.

In his employment practice, Mr.  Stulberg counsels executives and professionals employed in the U.S. and abroad in all aspects of workplace law, including negotiation and drafting of employment, separation and secondment agreements, and litigation of discrimination, retaliation, contract, and whistle blowing issues. In his labor practice, Mr. Stulberg represents labor unions in collective bargaining negotiations, contract arbitrations, public contracting matters, and judicial and administrative litigation. In his disability rights practice, Mr.Stulberg has successfully litigated class actions requiring wheelchair accessible curb ramps,rail stations, buses and street alarm boxes throughout New York City and environs.

Mr. Stulberg currently serves as Co-Chair of the Committee on International Labor and Employment Law of the American Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section(ABA­ LEL),and as Co-Chair of the Sub-Committee on International Law of the ABALEL Employee Rights and Responsibilities Committee. He previously served as Chair of the Committee on Labor and Employment Law of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York,and has served as Chair of its Sub-Committees on Workfare and OSHA, Co-Chair of its Liaison Sub-Committee to the Pro Se Committee of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and a member of its Committees on Disabilities Law and Federal Legislation.  He is also an active member of the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee, and a regular contributor to the AFL-CIO Building Department’s Organizing Campaign Guide.

A prolific author, teacher and lecturer, Mr. Stulberg has written and presented numerous publications, presentations and webinars on labor, employment and civil rights topics. He is rated AV (Highest Rating in Legal Ability& Ethical Standards) by Martindale-Hubbell, and is listed in New York Top-Rated Lawyers, New York Super Lawyers, and Expert Guide to World’s Leading Labour and Employment Lawyers.

Mr. Stulberg holds a J.D. degree from the Antioch School of Lawanda B.A. degree from Columbia College of Columbia University. Before attending law school, he was a print and broadcast journalist, and is the Emmy Award-winning producer and co-writer of”A Day Without Sunshine,” a PBS documentary about Florida farm workers. A violoncellist, Mr.StulbergperformswiththeRiversideOrchestrainNewYorkCityandpreviouslyservedas principal in the Lawyers’ Orchestra of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
